Sierra de Sones 2025

A musical research between the lived history and the imagined memory (tropical...)

This taller belongs to the proyect: Sierra de Sones Festival

After the meetings and connections woven in the second edition of the festival, Marisa (Asociación Dama de Torres) told us about Conjunto Jamaica, a music group formed in Torres in the 1960s. We have returned to the town to investigate about this group attracted by its name and the photo of the drummer that Marisa sent us.

The result has been a collective musical life story like we had never done before.

On Friday June 27th we were sharing this research inaugurating the III edition of the festival under the trees of the Pila Pellenda, you can see it in the video :D
